Hey Hey, I'm new to duramax's but not diesels. I had a 06' cummins that I really enjoyed, just didn't like fixing it. I did alot to it for being a novice. It was dyno'd at 439HP and 6xxTQ. I had rebuilt the engine and transmission due to lessons learned : ) I look foward to owning my first duramax. I'm shooting for a 03-06 "classic" but it looks like I might end up with a 02. Oh well, it's still a D-Max!!

stay away from the 03 they been know to have injector problem. if looking for a new truck go with 04-07 classic, i have a 06 classic and love it.
