Your biggest hurdle here is the whole duramax tuner incident. Many still remember promises of a cheaper rod that could take some power, and how well that ended. Your 2nd problem is you're an unknown, and many after being burned by a known, will not give an unknown a chance. I wish you luck, but I fear these will be a tough sell.

Well said Ferm. :thumb:

I would buy a set in a heartbeat if you would get someone like fleece or danville to run them in an engine and torture test them!

Yep....:D

Guys, lets give this guy a chance, I for one would love to see the prices come down to reality like the LS stuff has. That is what is great about America! Competition in the market place brings prices down, dont be a communist...

Like somebody already stated, send a few sets (3-4 beacuse one set could be a fluke) to a reputable engine builder and have them test on them real world, find the limits of these. Beat on them and take them to the failure point.
If they hold up and the builder gives them his blessing the cost of the donation to them would pale in comparison to be future sales stemming from this test. At a $1500 price point and a blessing of a known reputable builder these would fly off the shelf. You probably would have a very hard time meeting the demand of these.
I believe that because it says diesel on them and because there aren't many players in the game yet, the current market can charge whatever they want and it's about time for a good budget alternative to the high priced name brand out there.

Your biggest hurdle is proving these with more than just saying "I use them" if you have built a Duramax you know the cost involved. I wouldn't want to chance a catastrophic failure unless the rods came to me for free (that price changes things for a lot of people) but at $1500 I'd buy two sets if they had more of a backing

When this guy, time after time refuses to have them legitimately tested and is so concerned about loosing money on the first 4 sets of rods, almost as if he is "doing us a favor" by selling them at a discounted rate for us to test, with no type of backing from him...I won't risk my $14,000 long block and $5,000 worth of air over a Chinese Carrillo.

Call me crazy but you'd have to be nuts to run a set of these as of right now.

Exactly right. That, coupled with the fact that he hasn't answered the majority of the questions put forth, makes me very doubtful.

you can't rely on paying customers to be your test engines.

I'd be willing to try a set out if they are free. My Pistons just came in and twin kit is on the way. Should be around 1200hp when it gets put together.

The rods haven't upset anyone, if anything they have excited people. But we are all skiddish of hard parts that are untested. Them being in three of your engines is not testing, testing is being sent to a reputable builder to install them then perform dyno runs, drag strip runs, pulling runs and street beating and show that they do work beyond a shadow of a doubt

I wish you luck with these and hopefully some of the guys that are willing to throw these in their engines get back to us with good results

That's fine and all but a junk set of rods will set someone back 20,000$ and a hundred man hours all to save 1200$. Look at the big picture.
