First change the fuel filter unless you know for sure it was just changed.

I just changed the filter, I don't have fuel on the ground but I will run my truck and then park it check the primer pump and it's soft I have to pump it like 15 times til it gets hard again. When I ease on the throttle the thing runs like crap, I can't even drive it right now.

probably need to rebuild filter head. replace the o-rings in it

Weel the truck is running smooth again, the only thing I did was clean the the black electric box that controld the gas pedal, and there was a open hole (about 3/4") in my air box right next to my intake tube.... so I plugged it. Can anybody tell me what is supposedto be in that hole?

Service minder. Without that it was sucking in unfiltered air into the motor.
