I have not researched this but a buddy says inorder to get my turbo out, if thats the case i have to pull the cab off the truck. Looking down on the turbo that doesnt seem true. Can someone answer that for me.

No, you don't need to pull the cab.

Little update after cleaning the vane sensor yesterday. The engine light is still off but i can hear the turbo vanes changes position at idle until the truck is fully warmed up.Atleast that what i have been told the noise is. Is it normal for that to happen?

I'm not on the form much but Welcome (that may be a good thing, no truck problems ;) ). I have an LBZ aswell and I get that code once in a blue moon (maybe 2 times a year) dug in and diagnosed it changed the sensor, cleaned the vanes as best as possible and came back with nothing and even brought it to a GM shop and talked to the tech after and it seems to be one of those codes that pops up randomly due to sensitivity. I just clear it and get on my way.

IF the truck runs rough or out of wack then you'll have to dig in and figure whats going on. Good luck!
