Efi live help!!!! 2005 lly duramax

I'm new to the diesel scene and I've heard from everybody I have to have efi live on my truck so my question is what do I need to buy to put it on my truck like what tuner and what tunes are good I don't do much towing but I drive alot

You dont "have to have" it, but if you want tuning on your truck it is the best way to go.
What are you looking to do? What are your goals? Answer those questions first, as you may find a simple handheld tuner would suffice.

My truck is basically like a daily driver pretty much. I want better
mileage and of course I wanna have a little fun every now and than and do some burnouts and wat not haha
