Yes twinning or a muffler really kills the sound of it! I have the 4" magma flow with muffler on my wife's truck and you can barely here any whistle at all.:thumb:

Mark,
This has probably been asked already, but what gaskets would you replace on this install? Just ordered mine through Rob last week!

I wonder how much twin turbos would quiet this thing down. Or an aftermarket muffler. I'm sorry but I wouldn't run one of these without some way of quieting it down. That whistle is obnoxious and annoying.

It appears to work well, and I would love to try one but no way would I put up with that amount of noise.

We have a twin truck in house with the 68stg2r and it is much quieter, still hear it but toned down.

These turbos are awesome but need different custom tuning for them to work. Any older big VVT tunes do not work.

Running it with twins doesn't quite it down as much as you would think...:)

I didn't think it was possible but the 3794 stage 2R drives better then the stock LBZ charger did. As your rolling into it the tires are already breaking loose. Everytime I drive the truck I can't get over how much I love the turbo.

Hmmm that's interesting. Almost gives the illusion you're spooling up a huge single fixed vane..I like it !
