Yes twinning or a muffler really kills the sound of it! I have the 4" magma flow with muffler on my wife's truck and you can barely here any whistle at all.:thumb:
Mark is it normal it hear the turbo/ an air noise for about 10 seconds after you shut the truck off?
I think I need to make or find a vane controller so I can put one of these on my truck.
I wonder how much twin turbos would quiet this thing down. Or an aftermarket muffler. I'm sorry but I wouldn't run one of these without some way of quieting it down. That whistle is obnoxious and annoying.
It appears to work well, and I would love to try one but no way would I put up with that amount of noise.
thats interesting.. Jared, please share

Running it with twins doesn't quite it down as much as you would think...
Sure doesn't my LBZ whistles like crazy with the 3794 Stage 2R/s475 setup.
I didn't think it was possible but the 3794 stage 2R drives better then the stock LBZ charger did. As your rolling into it the tires are already breaking loose. Everytime I drive the truck I can't get over how much I love the turbo.
