No offense, but if you can't tell the difference between that cowl hood and stock, you might want to schedule an appointment with your optometrist. Just sayin'...

How do you level the mirrors

copied from DP for those that dont go there

1. Remove the plastic cover that is covering up the hinge part. Be careful
because that piece of plastic has a sharp edge; I cut myself the first time
I pulled it off.

2. Inside you'll see 4 phillip screws that is holding down the hinge; remove
these and let the mirror hang down.

3. Take the hinge clamp off from the mirror post. The clamp is what the
phillips screws go through and the mirror post is what the clamp goes
around.

4. Cut each side of the hinge clamp right in the middle.

5. Bend the top of the hinge clamp at the screw hole inward
such that at the cut it is bent outwards the same thickness of the metal
itself.

6. Bend the bottom of the hinge clamp at the screw hold inward as well
such that at the cut it is bent inwards the same thickness of the metal.

Note: Steps 5 and 6 may be confusing but visualize what you
are trying to do and it'll make sense. The reason for
making these bend is such that the mounting surface
where the clamp meets the mount base is square.

7. Insert 3 washers between the top of the hinge clamp and the mount base
and get some longer screws in which to secure the clamp. The washers
about the thickness of a penny. The new screws on top were about 15mm
in length.

8 Trim the plastic cover a bit where you see it rubbing.

im not going to take credit for this it was posted by a guy named reyb on dp
