Stall range don't mean shit.

I agree.

I have not spent one dime with you, Mike, and I called you regarding a problem with a Goerend tranny a couple years back.... You were MORE than willing to help me out and walk me through it. It is vendors like you who make this sport great!

I have been running a Goerend built Allison tranny and converter since 2007, and my brothers truck that we tow with has a Goerend in it.... I have sold and installed a dozen or more of Dave's trannys.... His converter couples like no other I have been in on a stock turbo, and I ran twins on mine for awhile. I later had it loosened for free by Dave, and I blew the stator apart after a half dozen hooks without the converter locking, he then built me another of the same converters as a temporary.... He then fitted a billet stator to another converter for me and exchanged me again, ALL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO ME! Dave is a class act and is all about improving things constantly. I am only 2 hours from him and have spoke with him on multiple occasions for quite a period of time. He has always said great things about you, Mike and I think you and him share the same passion, which is great and hard to find!

all effect the convertors performance as much as air flow, fuel, and ignition effect an engines perfomance, right?

so compared to the 1056
does it load the engine sooner? meaning one would actually see significant rpm drop with the new convertor vs the 100-200rpm drop (if any) in shifts while driving around town that one sees with a 1056?
1-2 shift is a 42% step <- should be very noticeable rpm change
2-3 shift is a 28% step
3-4 shift is a 23% step

A puller in my area has a Goerend converter, and that thing is tuff. He runs a pretty big single, so ive seen him set on the line for a minute plus, and hes been running it for 3 years!

You will be fine with the ML. I'm still getting a feel for the new converter.

I swear we asked about it in another thread bit cant find how well would it work with a billet 366 charger one of Trents kit? I might be pullingy trans this winter

And I swear I would answer your question when I test it on that turbo setup.
There are only 5 of them out there right now. After next week there will be 3 more. I'm being very carefull which trucks I install them on.

Hey Mike

You should bring your new converter to phoenix for me to run in my truck. I should have enough hp to put it through its paces. ;)
