I only paid $23.5k for my 2003 truck back in 2005. :) The Aurora was a $40K car new in 2003, if you can believe that.

I was told to look for the Colorado in 4th Q 2015....so as Henry said, figure it'll be a 2016 model. They're working out the last bugs in them right now. I hope my nephew brings one of them home on a "test drive". I'd like to check one out in person.

Since were listing off prices, my 95 K2500 6.5L diesel SUBURBAN had a window sticker of around $42K for a moderately equipped SLE(cloth seats, power windows, locks, mirrors, dual A/C, and a few other options). Don't know what the origanal purchaser paid as I was the 3rd owner of it. To bad I threw the sticker away when I did my swap, figured there was no more need to keep it since most everything on it was different than when it was new.

So GM didnt put a diesel in the 1/2 ton but they offer it in a mid size that looks like a half ton?:confused::confused: The GMC looks great from the front, the chevy is pretty damn ugly. Whats with those sqaure buldging fenders?

I wonder how long of a box the crew cab will come with and how wide. If it's the same size as my Titan EC I may be interested in one. Looks pricey though. If it's 47g down there it will be close to 60 up here - only 10g cheaper than a 1 ton. Fuel mileage will dictate sales numbers I reckon.

The size of these new Colorados (between a Dakota and a regular large truck) is starting to make me think GM is going to go the Ford route with trucks.....a "regular size" 1/2 ton style and a physically larger 3/4 and 1 ton truck.

I'll ask if my nephew can bring one "home" the next time he's in town.

I'm with mike, I'm digging that black crew cab long bed chevy!! What's the interior like?!

I looked at a new ccsb Sierra today that stickered at a touch over $57k. I reckon anything 5yo or newer is outta reach for me. :(

Ahhh. Come on 0% nothing is out of reach just use a credit card for the down payment and then finance the rest at 0%. And start eating tuna and cat food you will be alright
