Yea I was thinking about getting one when the SS version came out but I guess that wont happen now that the SS department has been disbanded.
The SS is still happening. The department that got shut down were the ones that developed stuff like the ZR1. The development for the SS has already been completed. And GM has no choice but to bring one out. To only have a V6 version would hurt a lot of sales and make it look bad right away compared to the Mustang and the Challenger.
Actually bottom picture the 2 red ones are SS'. They have the front air intake. The picture above the silver one does not, its an RS.

Chevrolet made a camaro and it was nice. Then they messed it up from then on. The NEW one looked like it might be good, but then they watered it down.
I remember the SS truck, it was going to compete with the lightning and SRT truck, oops , Chevrolet forgot teh blower/turbo.....
Ford had no problem making some sick cars through the years, and Dodge has came out with some neat body styles, but hey at least we have a colbalt SS turbo....................

I'll take the black one in the back with sunroof. In the first pic, you can definitely see seats and maybe a steering wheel here and there if you get up closer to the screen.

Like in the above post the red ones in the last pic are SS' with 1 of 2 V8s depending on if they are an auto or manual.
