I had an old Honda TRX250R that someone had moved the VIN plate to a place that had caused the last digit to get worn away. Besides the issues with the plate being moved, the DMV searched the where abouts of all the bikes that could have had that VIN, only 10 in my case. They could only find contact info for one and it was no longer valid. More paper work and a bonded title, after 3 months of it being in ADOT custody!

Good luck.

Pat,

I've ridden the 2 stroke triple you speak of.... It was like an RD-400 on A LOT of steriods. Keeping it horizontal was a challange.:D

Cool wheely bike huh. Congrats on the new thumper, torque beast for sure. Stick in third and tap the clutch.;)

KTM's are great bikes, I always wanted one.

You got to love the 2 strokes, the throttle response & brutal powerband always made them so much fun to ride. I cannot believe they will soon be a thing of the past. Damn tree huggers.....

I still have my 250R Suzuki quad & will probably never sell it. It still walks all over the new 400 & 450 quads out there.

I gave up on my dirt bikes for the street. Now I have a Yamaha R1 with a little 50 shot of nitrous for good measure. 200hp & 380lb is a good combination.

Good luck with the new toy....

I even love the smell of a 2-stroke:D the 250R where fast but still no comarison to the 500 quadzilla
Crap. The VIN on the pink slip is off two digits from the frame. Need to figure out what is up.

The previous owner put the off-road sticker on top of it, so I did not check it until I got home.
Hope it doesnt burn when you touch it:eek:

Congrats on the new bike..... You can still get an 07 cr500af from service honda. It not straight from the manf. But still a new bike.

And man i can only amagine how i would ride if my dad bought me a bike when i was young....congrats again guys

I use to love the 500 in the hills, didnt matter what gear you where in just a ton of power, the 125 i first had was all about gearing wrong gear and it was try try again

I still think there is nothing like a 800 2-stroke in a sled then adding some NOS to it:eek:

Im not a huge fan of the way ktm's ride, but the one thing you have to give them is that, the new bikes come with just about everything you would want to add on. For example black rims, waved rotors, braided brake lines, hydraulic clutch, black forks.
there pretty sweet!

If I even look at anything that has 2 wheels, I fall over.
