Well I got to the track this last weekend at the Suncoast Spring Shakedown event. Recorded my best pass so far on my wife’s daily driver 66/480 twins lb7. I made a best pass of 6.74 at 106 in full weight trim. I hurt a few guys feelings in their gutted race trucks.

They are Bullseye’s TCT chargers and I use the v banded stainless turbine and 45mm waste gate. I haven’t even connected my boost controller so basically it’s blowing around the 66 and feeding the 480 when you run it. Boost levels are only around 60 psi. I hope to go to a quarter track this year and turn it loose there to see how well it back halves. I think it will be even a better back half.

Thank you. We don’t get to the track but a couple times a year at most. I wish there was more going on in diesel events in our area. I have a regular cab I hope to get to do this year that will be fast. My goal is 5.90 or better with full interior and a/c.

Congrats Shane . I’m shooting for a 1.3s 60’ and a 5.9s 1/8 plus a 9.4 or so in the 1/4 . Based on my latest 60’ and 1/8 that I ran on the 185% overs and a small shot of NOS it seems very doable . I now have 250s on it l. I had some trans issues that day as well which I’m think is going to be my C1s since I have no forward gears just reverse . I think my C1s had to have been slipping. ANY PICS OF THAT REGULAR CAB ?

I’m shooting for a 5.9x pass on March 30th as well. Our truck is 4500lb and was cutting low 1.5x 60s last year and throwing low rail psi right at the launch. Fresh set of injectors this year and pumps, and hopefully do it. We went 6.41 on fuel on a 750-800hp tune. On the 30th we’re turning it up and see what happens. If we can’t reach it running singles elite during the day, we will will strap a bottle to it for a glory pass later that day.

Of course al that pending the engine lives as it’s stock :D

It’s 4wd. If we can hit 6.0-6.1 assuming it makes 1000rwhp I would think it would be no issue to hit a 5 second pass on the bottle. Last year race weight was 4800 this year it’s down to 4500. I’ll make a post about it and share pics I won’t take away from Shane’s thread.

Thank you Mark as well as the rest of you guys. I have considered throwing a little N2O on it and see what she has. I kit looking to break a ton of stuff but I know it’s highly likely. All the suspension is stock.
