Went to the track friday night and made about 8 passes. My best for the night which was also my all time best, 8.14 @ 83.XX 1.74 60ft. This was at full weight, even forgot to remove the tail gate. I'm going back this friday night and I'm going to strip it down and pray for high 7's.

Thanks Trent, I'm def. going to strip it, I might even sand some paint off. Tires may help also, I'm running worn out Michelin LTX right now. I'm going to try to get some new BFG's on before friday.

Thanks everyone! I have been to Jacksonville with Dustin, thats where I ran the 1/4. It was very hot that day and the best I could do was a 13.20@ 102. and 8.3 in the 1/8. This past Friday night I ran the 1/8th in Sharpsburg N.C. at Brewers. Temps were allot cooler and I seemed to hook a little better also.

Thanks again everyone, I went back last night and removed the back seat, the spare, and tailgate. I didn't realize the front pass seat had two different types of fasteners so I had to leave it in. I consistently ran in the 8.1's all night with a best of 8.11 @ 83.24 with a 1.714 60'. It was about 15* hotter and allot more humid than last week so that hurt me a bit. I'm going to try again in a couple weeks if I can catch a night with lower temps. We had a blast, I had the only diesel out of about 80-100 cars and trucks running last night so needless to say I got allot of attention, not to say my truck is fast in comparison to most trucks on this site, these folks just haven't seen many performance diesels.

You'll get that. :) It makes all the mods definitely worth while.

Congrats on your times. :thumb:
