Our little man is here and all is well. His name is Brayden alan Carter. He was born 10-09-09 @5:01 a.m 5lbs 9o.z 19 inches long. The misses was induced three weeks early due to preeclampsia and pregnancy related high blood pressure (reasons for low weight). The little guy had to spend the first four days of his life in Nicu because of unstable blood sugar, but he is doing perfect now and has been home for a week or so. What a perfect baby SOFAR. He is on a four hour schedule and wakes at ten,two and six for a changing and feeding and then back to sleep. This pic was the day he got out and you can still see the patch marks from monitors and the poor thing had bandaids all over his feet from IV and blood sugar pokes

Congrats man thats awsome!! When my son was born he was 5 weeks early and we lived at Blank Children Hospital for the 5 weeks before he got to come home so I know how you feel once you get them home. Have fun as they will grow up fast!! Congrats again!

God blessed you with a beautiful child! My wife went through some of the same things and the docs had to take my son out 3wks early too. He turned out just fine, he's going on ten yrs old. Oh, where did the time go? Anyways good luck with the child. They grow up fast, so enjoy the toddler days

Man, I wondered what the heck the thread title meant.

CONGRATS!!!!! :thumb: Hope Mom and son are doing well! We went thru much the same with our daughter, but it was due to jaundice, not sugar. Kids are pretty darn resilient.

BTW, they dont start yowling at 3am until after a month or so....just wait, its coming...
