I am only try to help frustrated people and show there is other options. If you like it great. If you like what you have great! All I know is I am extremely happy with it. I am not slandering anyone nOr am I selling anything. Just putting the word out about other options that worked for me. I think others will enjoy as well.

Dropping the tank and going thew the sending unit hole. Yes it is a flow threw fail safe design like a a1000 or eliminator pump.

Its kinda funny you joined yesterday & start posting about this fuel pump that was unveiled last week at Sema
going by your location your right down the road from Aeromotive
So it pretty much sounds like you work there & joined here to promote this new product
x2

Have you tested this pump to be flow-thru at different speeds and power instead of just at idle? Is your truck stock, and if so, how do you know the pump can keep up with power upgrades? Noise levels being relative, how did you mount yours to keep noise to a minimum?
You'll have to show data to back your claims, as "I chose this one" is simply your opinion.

It looks all pretty and such when its new, but give me the same pump for a while up here in Michigan, and we'll see if its all that afterward.
It will probably last as long as an AD of Fass pump in the real world. Hopefully its a "lifetime" warranty and they actually honor theirs.

There is a lot that's better. You don't have the wearing and replacement of the inner seals after winter time, built in regulator and gauge not a spring and ball. Built in check valve, The free flow design has been tested driving so it will not leave you stranded. Flow rates are almost double when this pump is at 8 psi over competitors 10 psi

Just to give you an example

Competitor a 95 pump at 10 psi flows 86 gph

Competitor b on 165 pump at 10 psi flows 72gph

Aeromotives at 8 psi flows 162 gph

My truck is making 530 rwhp.

Also the pump is mounted on inner frame rail by the fuel cooler my pump isn't annoying like others I have had. I am sure once they get this in production they will release all of there specs.

I have had the similar design pump on my street car for 7 years running e-85 with not one issues. Hope this answers your question

I'm still curious about the filtration. Are the filters readily available and can they be cross referenced? I've never seen a filter that was efficiency tested @ 162 gpm.

Wow at the difference in gph. How could B get away with selling something thats not even close to what is advertised.

i have known Jason aka smkscrn for a long time, he is a good guy and would not be giving us all info about something that doesn't work! i actually just talked to him about getting one for my truck to test for them next year. i hope to put some bigger injectors in it and hope to offer some good info for a higher hp truck. aeromotive makes such amazing fuel system parts for some really fast stuff im excited to have them offer us diesel stuff!!
