338/408 Chey-Tac Lawton 8000 and 40 moa base,36" Lilja,8.5x25 Leupold,Gene Davis optical booster,Jewel trigger,Russo stock.

I still need to apply finish to the stock, Install a lower set of rings,Highly polish the barrel and action.
I'll get some more pics when its all done.

Just a wisker further. Its super sonic to over 2500 yds.

I haven't chrono'd it yet but, It should push the 300 gr. bullet over 3400 feet/sec

Got to do alittle shooting a few days back, I am pretty happy with the results so far,(group measures .242 ctc) Was gonna shoot some today, But the rain didnt cooperate.

Two things come to mind here. The rifle was put together by the best, and someone CAN shoot.

Never heard what kind of pressures it will hold, I do know that Chey-Tec totally revamped the brass from the parent case for the extreme pressure.

This thing is impressive to say the least,Its not for those that are sensitive to muzzle blast
Hope to get some time on my range here soon, So I can fine tune my load development.Cause they hay fields are about 45% mowed and the ground hogs are getting ripe
