Negative offset question

These were 20x10 with a -12 offset, 305/50-20 tires. I had the valance cut and the pinchweld on the back of the fender cut and hammered flat to stop the rubbing.... it still would with the wheel locked. If you've leveled the truck,run 285's, and cut the valance/pinch weld, you may be able to get away with running a -44 but you're gonna get some rub no matter what.

Here's my set up...
4" lift set @ 4"
285/75/18 tires (34.8")
18x10 -24 wheels

I ran this tire size totally leveled out with horrible c/v angles with an 18x8.5 +12 wheel and it rubbed at full lock still, or just under full lock if I hit a bump, and thats with the pinch weld cut out and all the various trimming tricks done.

Theres no way I would expect to run this wheel/tire package on a leveled truck, not without trimming a whole lot more than I'm willing to.

Maybe I could get away with a 33x12.5 but I doubt it cuz they're a lil bit wider than the tires I have now, albeit a little bit shorter
