Hello new to the site I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 four door short box. Built to be reliable but fun(550ish hp) I tow ALOT and travel for work I put sometimes up to 600 miles on a week. I just rolled 160k miles That being said it’s time to do my front end there is noticeable play in the wheel. So my dilemma is this I have a 6 in fabtec lift on 35 in tires. I was looking at buying the stage 3 kit off of dmaxstore.com which is kriptonite tie rods, cbeterlink pitman arm and idler with the cognito PISK kit for bracing. On the DMAX store it says this kit will not fit mcgauys lifts with out some tampering and or lifts that use a center link drop bracket. So on merchant automotive the same kit says it doesn’t fit fabtec lifts but says nothing about “center link drop brackets” or mcgauys lifts (sorry if that’s spelled incorrectly ) so I am confused if anyone can shed some light on this it would be great? Far as I can tell my centerlink looks like it’s in the factory position my cv axles are not completely flat but I’ve definitely seen a lot worse on other lower quality lifts And further more does anyone know if you even have to replace the center link or am I good with just buying everything else cleaning up and reusing my factory center link?
I’ve found not a lot searching on line about this. I would like to stick to kriptonite I like their warranty. It seems that what I’ve found online the biggest issue with these kits fitting are with the center link being in the original position
I’m also doing my wheel bearings (timkens) upper control arms and ball joints (kriptonite)
