I ran the sts this year and just could not get any traction on loose tracks. At the last pull i went down to 15f 40r and truck wanted to get a hopin bad which it had never done. The truck spins very bad off the line. These tires are maybe half worn. I do like the way they look but i will not but another set. I going to try the goodyears next month and see how they work.

the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac hooks good in the dirt! i love the MTR with Kevlar for the softer tracks! over all the Mickey Thompson ATZs are awesome..

the Primewells are ok but dont expect long life from them:rolleyes:

Have you been driving your sts on the street? If you are that is probably your problem.

i dunno^^ but i had the same problem with brand new never run STS's on a loamy track and around 500 rwhp. it could be because my front end never stays planted but my toyo MT's pulled better in the loam and my silent armors pulled better on the hard horse track

I use Mickey Thompson ATZ's as well as a few other guys in my club, we have some of the loosest tracks around, they seem to work well, but we just went from a "stoneboat" style sled to a transfer sled, it will ready for the 2010 SNETPA season, hopefully my ATZ's will continue to work well, I don't want to spend more $$ on tires.

Drove them on the road but the wear was good. The edges where still like new hardly no wear on the tire. Kind of surprised me cause everyone else says they wear terriable. How you like your sts.

I don't have sts's i run bfg a/t's at the moment. I am gonna try the interco's next season. The comment i made was just what I have heard not my opinion.
