I tried 3 different CC's on the EFI web site and it keeps saying "failure to process payment" I read on the EFI forum that because it is a new zealand based bank/credit system,, you have to authorize the purchase with your bank/CC provider first:confused: That's a problem today since the banks are not open:( Any body here able to sell me 1 today??

Yes I usually have Rob at ATP send me my licenses but I believe he is racing this weekend. I figured I could simplify the process and buy it directly through EFI today.. A buddy was looking for a mileage/tow tune before leaving town this weekend and I was trying to help him out last minute.

To add to that vendors generally (To my knowledge) dont make much, if anything selling licenses "Hence" why I believe nobody's is jumping up and down trying to get me one ASAP;) Its all good though, I can order one monday from Rob and hook my buddy up when he gets back:)

Do you have paypal?

For security measures, many banks in the USA prevent international transactions on their cards until you specifically request access to use that function. The policy is most likely different between banking institutions, and unfortunately it's not something we can control. Although annoying for you, I guess you can be thankful in knowing that you bank is trying to prevent unauthorised transactions.

If you do require a license this weekend, your best bet would be to call a vendor and have the transaction processed within the USA for them to place with us. I know you have said Rob is away, but have you checked that Monte or someone else isn't taking orders?

Cheers
Cindy

That was my understanding from doing some reading on your forum.. I actually forgot Rob enlisted some help since the last time I talked to him, Guess I should have tried the office:eek: For the record what is it that my bank needs to know to allow international access?? Just a phone call I'm guessing:confused:

You could always unlink your truck, use your current license to tune the buddy's truck then get license on monday and reinstall your tunes.

But that would depend on how good of a buddy this is and when is the next time you will see him.

I'm not 100% sure, I think a phone call is all that is needed.

You will also need to send sales at efilive dot com an email with your order number details to ensure that they do not do 'something' and process all 3 of your orders. I'm not 100% sure of the technical side of the transactions, but once a license is issued it cannot be 'unissued', so better to be safe than sorry.

EFILive isn't like a handheld where the relationship between the handheld and the truck can be reset provided the stock tune is returned. EFILive allows tuning of multiple vehicles at the one time and doesn't allow 'unlinking' of licenses. Once a vehicle is licensed, it's licensed. It makes no difference what type of tune is in the truck - stock, modified etc.

I am going to be pi$$ed if I just bought over $600 dollars in licenses with no returns:mad: I tried 1 card (I believe) 3 times and the other 3 one time each. It never said anything about processing my order just that it could not process my order, I would assume it would not just randomly decide to accept all my attempts,, would it?

I sent a E-mail to your sales department but I have no order number to provide them with since my transaction never processed...

I can see orders in the system, I do not have access to them. I can see 3 orders in the system for the same person that require manual intervention. Each order was for 2 licenses, so a total cost of $750.

If these are your orders, you will need to send an email to sales explaining what has occurred and what you want done. It's Sunday lunch time in New Zealand, orders may be checked periodically during the day. It very well maybe the case that they can't be processed because of the international banking issue, but given the value of the transaction that's not an assumption you should be making.

I'm explaining to you the process and giving you the opportunity to rectify your issue (if needed) before it becomes a bigger issue.

Cheers
