Thanks for your help guys your probably sick of me but I'm still having issues. I got that 0087 code again I really didnt give it much throttle, not like I was racing somebody or in a hurry, I just was accelerating up the on ramp to get on the inerstate and when I got up to speed the engine light came on and it wouldnt kickdown or go above 75 , like the other night racing that dodge after wards it wouldnt go above 35-40. Also I mentioned in another thread the truck is not running as good and I was told it might be tuning issues or I maybe leaking boost somewhere.I cleared the code and took the truck back to stock, should I take it to the shop @ the dealership and take my chances with them finding something wrong or should I call PPE and see if it is a tuning issue. P.S. Please scan through my other threads and let my know what you think about the other issues I'm having THANKS GUY'S

Dyno it if you think it's weak. A 06 "LLY" will normally push about 280 to the tires. It's not REALLY an LLY, but you probably know that.

Put on a lift pump and see if the 0087 goes away. Usually it will.

I guess I dont know what you mean about the lly thing I was told that if your 8th digit in the vin is a 2 than it is an lly. Enlighten me ( Thank you by the way, I'm looking into a lift pump.)

Since it is 06 it's a detuned LBZ. The parts are all LBZ the only LLY thing about your truck is the Vin#. Hope that helps.

Does 0087 cause it to go into limp mode?

Is that what you are feeling? Are there any other codes. What happens after you clear them?

Will it do it on a low or stock tune?

What is your DES and ACT rail psi at the time of incident, now, and when truck feels slow?

Cool so @ the online shops I can buy whatever says it will fit an 06 LBZ and I'm good or do I have to still look for 06 LLY parts because sometimes they are not listed, its only 05 LLY or 06 LBZ @ some stores

No it doesnt do it on the stock tune and I havent tried a low tune. It ran awesome on that 225hp tune but I have experienced wierd stuff that I have expressed in my other posts it kinda ticks and rattles during kickdown and then stops when it winds up and every now and again it puffs white smoke during start up and kinda continues untill the high idle kicks in.With the 0087 code though I never had it come on before untill I raced a cummins the other night and I mean I had her to the wood and wasnt really paying attention to anything but my side and rearview mirror I got up past 120 and figured that was good enough I still had about 2 truck lengths on him and when I slowed down and turned around I noticed the engine light was on and the truck wouldnt go over 35-40 mph and I about shit. I thought I put the trany in limp mode or blew the truck up I took it home and cleared the code and it ran . The next day I really wasnt getting on it big time or nothing but it didnt seem to run as good and then this morning I got that code again accelerating up the on ramp to the interstate I cleared it and took it back to stock. Is this something that is going to happen easier everytime or what I kinda nervous here

Yea sounds like your are loosing pressure look into a lift pump and maybe shim the FPRV. Your truck is going into limp home mode, next time it does, clear the code right away and see if performance is instantly back.

I forgot to mention that I was getting a p0402 code before I upgraded programmers.I first got the code when I put my exhaust on and when I got rid of the bullydog tuner I had and got the ppe I cleared the code and it never came back, except with the truck in the stock setting it will return. Thanks for the Info, does that mean you think I'm okay or should I take it in and get it looked @ P.S. what do you mean by shim the FPRV

I get P0401 and P0404 since I put on my exhaust. The EGR doesnt seem to like performance exhaust:( Maybe your FPRV is @#%& I've heard of a couple of them failing

Its not that the reive valve is %^%^, its performance is.

Get more fuel to it. If you start poping it on the high side then you will prolly need the shim....

What is the FPRV I'm guessing its the fuel pump relief valve what can i do to narrow it down and see if that is the problem and can I replace it or does that require dealership and warranty work. The truck definately does not run as good as it did before that first time I got the 0087 code. It doesent run like it used to on the stock setting either.P.S. maybe this is a dumb question but does turbo lag get worse the more you tune it because it seems to turd out pretty bad when I floor it and then it takes off like a jet.( this was happening before the problems I've been having lately) Also what can I do to get more low end power and torque:D After I figure this problem out ofcourse

Here is how you would shim your FPRV-Fuel Pressure Relief Valve

But, you would do this test first
