Hey guys need some help here please .Just got m first duramax an 2003 ecsb with 120,000 , just driving it around the other day when I smelled fuel got it home and a little smoke was coming out ,I let it cool down and notice that the passager side rear injector leaking ...Now there is no clamp that bolts the injector to the valve cover i'm guessing that is why its seems like when I press on the more the more fuel comes out ....? Any one else had this problem ? and where can I get this clamp I'll take pics as soon as I can ...Forgive me if it's in the wrong forem, please move T hanks

I would try taking the line out and cleaning everything up before I bought a new line.

Did you pull it off and inspect the line yet? Check the seat surface for any imperfections, line & injector. Could be cracked?

The line is a metal to metal fit no seal on the high pressure stuff. I had a leak on my LLY line once. Loosen it from the rail and injector, then tightened both down slowly and evenly. I had to tighten the injector side really tight to get it to stop.

So I took off the line finally , cleaned it in and out .Took some compress air and blew out the line and top of the injector .. Had to do it like 2 or 3 times then tighten the line put a new clip on aand drove around and took it to work and so far nothing no drip or leak ...Thanks for the help guys wish me luck.......
