I know the snap on mt2500 we have can do the 01 and 02 and thats about it just have to have the right key and all but they readings you need are in it .looks like your buddies is newer so it should do it
The snap on will do it. You can ramp it up to 160 mpa and it should go to 155 or better at idle. If it does the cp3 is good if it doesn't it may be bad. You also need to put a vaccume gauge on the test port when doing so (and driveing) and watch you vaccume to make sure you don't have a restriction. Jeff
You should take a hard look at your factory fuel filter head. The hand pump will over time start to get weak. When there is a good vacuum on it from the CP3 sucking fuel hard it can leak and cause a 0093.

This is the best way to test it. And Jeff means put the vacuum gauge on the fuel pressure test port. I believe you are allowed up to 5psi vacuum but don't quote me on that-normal is somewhere's around 2psi vacuum I believe.
