Hey guys,
*** How we doing i need your help . So i was driving home i had stopped at a truck stop. And once i pulled out i accelerated a bit to pick up speed since i was towing a car on a trailer. Once i reached 60 i placed it on cruise control when all of a sudden i felt a small fuel cut and then the dash said fuel filter life dropped to 0% and then said change fuel filter then check engine light came on and went limp mode say engine power reduced and then just cut off. I had a couple of people try to help me out some say my cp4 went out some say its electrical. I replaced fuel filter with another ac delco one semi rebuild the primer housing. I just wanna make sure it isnt the cp4 because i know thats expensive and if it is , is it covered by warrenty. We did spray a little bit of starter fluid and it started up. I heard also that the fuel pressure regulator get dirty on the mesh can that be? How can i test the cp4 ?* These were the code i got* P2610, P2493, P128E, P2510, P0087,P154B,P150C. One so call mechanic thought by deleting the codes it would work but the P128E stays. HOW EVER GETS ME TO START THIS TRUCK AND BACK ON THE ROAD I WELL SEND THEM 100 BUCK... JUST HAS TO TELL ME WHAT I COULD BE IF IT WORKS ILL SEND THE MONEY PLEAAASSSEEEEE HELP THANKS

It's possible your cp4 went. Have to see desired vs actual rail pressure to get a better idea. If it still has a warranty send it to the dealer if you can an have them fix it

Maybe. How long does the warranty last? It's been 4 years since yours is a 2012. Long as you didn't modify it or tune it an if the warranty still applies they should fix it

If you take it to the dealer leave out the part where you used starting fluid, starting fluid in a engine that has glow plugs is a recipe for problems...
