Need help p0087 rail pressure low and limp mode

Hi, I have a 2007 classic lbz that is stock with 246k miles and I'm throwing p0087 low rail pressure code I have changed filter checked rubber fuel lines for collapsing and also replaced fprv with ppe race plug .. any help would be great ... also my balance rates on injectors are decent number 8 cylinder is highest at 3.4 in neutral at operating temp.. and in drive only goes to 3.8 to 4.0 ... cylinder 2 is at 2.5 in neutral and 2.8 in drive..

Since this is your first post I going to give you a little bit of a hard time. Have you done a search? I'll give you a hint you need to check the return rates on your CP3 and injectors. The balance rates don't mean much.

I would start by doing a return rate test on your injectors. We have fixed these problems in the past with a set of injectors. Also could be a weak CP3 pump.

Thanks for help called a buddy i have access to Gm (kent-moore) return volume kit j-45873 :thumb:..I'll run return test and see what my injector return rate is thank y'all for your help..

I just fixed a 201k LMM by replacing all injectors. Same symptoms, every line and cooler and bleed screw etc replaced. Truck ran fine until loaded, then couldnt hold rail psi. Injector return high spec is 35(cant remember the units used) and the trucks best one was in the 50's. Worst was 80something. Lbz and LMM are known for this issue when the injectors get some age on them.
