it's acting like it has low fuel rail pressure and the injectors start to knock. I have the fass 150 lift pump. had it running this morning for 10 minutes just fine got in to go to work and then it started knocking. It will start and run fine for a couple seconds then start knocking. It has done it before while driving and what I did was make sure the primer was firm and I drained the lift pump a little and then it would have run fine. This is the first time that hasn't worked.
Have you ice picked the #2 and #7 injectors before? Have you checked the wire harness by the alternator?
Ice pick them all...
Some have to replace the harness pigtail. If you ahold of a v2 shut them down one at a time untill you find the culprit...
You inspect the FICM bracket real good?

I bet the problem is in the harness, not the injector connector. Check it out behind the ficm

so i;m jus wonderin, what codes or issues may i see if my factory cp3 pump was gone? i'm not sure what is going on with my truck, but i was jus driving everything was fine then outta the blue my truck falls flat on its face. it set off a engine code (not sure what it is yet, i'll know tommorow, i don;t have a scanner). didn;t go into limp mode but has nothin but engine knock,sounds like a ford, but when i try and give it a lil fuel, it jus stumbles and keeps knocking, with the pedal to the floor it might get to 1200 rpm but still knocking. if you turn the truck off and leave it for a few minutes then start it back up she idles fine you go and drive away and shes good for a bit, but then falls on its face again, i have tryed a few diffrent times doing this , but doesn;t really matter what speed or how many rpms, it also comes and goes, sometimes it happens like imdially, sometimes it takes 10 min or so. i was kinda thinkin somethin to do with cp3 pump jus not sure tho. i have takin the edge off the truck and problem still occors, when i do have dge on it is usally set on 3/3. the truck has roughly 200000 kms on it. i also jus changed the fuel filter as well and still didn;t help the sitution
