Allison 5sp: Need help! Limp mode

I have a 2001 lb7 with 198,000 miles. Its got efi live tuning with a dsp5 switch. Tunes are 150hp, smoke n lope, tow haul, economy, and 100hp. This truck gots a stock transmission that has been going into limp mode p1711 when trans gets close to 200°. You can feel it slip and it is usually happens when im rumping on it hear and there. It goes right into 4th gear and locks into it and gives me a check engine light. Im not sure what to do.

I'll let you in on a secret here; don't publisize a smoke and lope anything. We don't like it. Now go get your trans built.

I guess your top quality tuner neglected to tell you that a 150 hp tune is way more than is safe for a stock transmission.

I bought the truck with that on it. Its done by long horn fab and i heard that the smoke n lope is a tranny killer but the guy had that on the truck! So im guessing i need better tunes and a tranny rebuild
