Need advise on predator tuner

I have a U7180 Predator tuner for my 02 lb7. I bought the tuner in 04 and haven't really had any problems with it. I was checking out the Diablo site and noticed they have put out a lot of updates for my tuner. They want $99.00 to upgrade the hardware on my tuner to be able to connect to the computer and have the latest version. My question is...how many of you have the updated version and what am I going to gain from spending the $$ on it beside being able to use my computer to connect to my truck? What are the benefits? I asked Diablo guys and they didn't seem to care to talk to me about it, not the first time I had to deal with them and there SH*#!Y customer service! Kinda stuck with the tuner otherwise I'd trash it and go with EFI Live!

I doubt many on here use much other than Efi live with custom tuneing or ppe.

Built trans? If your happy with the way it runs, I'd keep it as is.

I had the predator before and I liked it. Go on their site and join the forum...fill out your sig like you would here and ask your questions you will get some answers. Sometimes the company guys are slow to respond but I'd you stay at them you will get your answers.

No on the trans. Truck runs great, just thought I'd see if spending the $ would be worth it.

Never had to deal with there cust service but when i ran them years ago i always liked them, made decent smooth power. id recomend then to anyoe not looking for all out hp as a decent tuner!
