I have a 04 LB7 with 35" tires a Superchip programer. I recently installed a cold air intake and now it seems to have NO bottom end power and no smoke what so ever..... Any suggestions to help with that?? Working with a limited budget.... Thanks

The Intake has a larger surface area where the MAF sensor is mounted. This sensor can limit fueling. With the larger diameter pipe, the MAF is "seeing" less airflow (it thinks). So it limits fueling because it doesn't think there is enough air entering the motor. This can be corrected with EFI Live / HP Tuners (not exactly a cheap option)... without custom tuning you may need to get a different intake w/ the same sized pipe diameter as stock. (it doesn't take a lot of difference to throw the sensor scaling off)
Measure the inside diameter of your new intake where teh MAF sensor goes in, and then measure your stock one. You could have gotten an intake with a larger diameter at the MAF which would throw teh MAF sensor reading off and make it defuel.
Thanks for all the input... Well i have a L3 Racing intake.. (yes i know i went cheap and prob biting me now)... I checked codes and it says (air flow Circ low input) Power is great after its going. Will it hurt anything to run like this?
they say 4" is the biggest you can go without reprograming it i went with a good name one it was bills custom and never had a problem then 2 weeks later i took it off sold it and ordered twins
when i had my afe intake and edge programer mine had no low end either. it wont hurt anything except remember that when pulling out into traffic and what not you wont have the low end to get going lol.
Take off the intake and put your stock one back on. Then get some non residue electrical contact cleaner and clean the oil you sucked off that filter off your MAF.
