Ok, I'm about to purchase myself a shinny new turbo and need a little input. My plans, build my motor this winter and twin it to produce around 1000 hp on fuel.. Goal as of now get a wastgated single that I can finish out the season with.. I'm feeling something along the lines of a s466. And defuel it till I build.. Or the new precision turbo that Trent is testing out.. I need to get this turbo in by next week so I can test and dial it in before the next pull.. And Trent hasn't given any prices on the precision chargers yet, so I don't know I that can be an option as of right now ( even tho I really want that one :( ) what do you guys think?

Yeah the precision sounds so nasty, that's really what sold me on it, and that it flows and spools up better then a s466.. I would buy on right now to tell you the truth. just waiting on a price.

i wouldnt let missing one pull rush you into getting a charger that you're gonna have for more pulls later down the road. i would just wait for the one you want. Plus, those precisions are nasty

I have all the pricing laid out on the precisions , just been waiting to sell any until my testing is done , I could have sold 5 by now but dont want to put something out that isnt going to be up to snuff , the Billet S366 is a great option also and we offer Twin and Triple kits to work with either later , I like the precision better than any single turbo i have ever tested or used , the drivability is awesome , sounds wicked , and cleans up all the smoke on my race tune , i think it will pass the test just dont want to rush it .

Sometimes you can make a huge mistake doing something "in a rush". Just keep that in mind.... ;)

You are doing one smart thing at least by talking to Trent.

I just got off the phone with Trent, good guy with tons of good info for me to think about. After talking to him about the new precision turbo, the drivability, power, and all that good stuff.. I think I am defiantly going to wait! If the dyno numbers show over the s475 then I will be the first to buy one of those bad boys... Compound later :) thanks for all your help Trent !

If you get it why defuel it? You already said you are gonna build it this winter. You should let it eat. whats the worse that can happen:D.

I really didn't want to buy a new block this winter when I build, I will give her fuel don't you worry about that.. Just don't know how much till i start dialing her in

If you are really worried about blowing it up, i would just run what you have now and put new turbo on the motor when you build it.

Maybe your luck is like mine. I had dual fuelers and a 4094r set on max for one year. Bent all 8 rods and sheared camshaft dowel pin off. Truck ran like a top right up to me pulling the motor out. How long the rods where bent or dowel pin sheared off i dont have a clue. I still say keep what you got and do everything this winter

You know that wouldn't be a bad thing,, it's going to happen,, I just hope she runs untill I build.. But, we will see. If she goes it's not that big of a deal
