Could someone tell me if i could put 1 LLY piston in my LB7 block and would it run as it should? Or is there a compression diference between the 2 motors that might run me into some problems? I am under the understanding that the 01 thru 05 have alot of the same parts in them & the pistons due look like they would be an exact fit,But i would like to know for sure!

Are the LBZ/LLM rods really worth the effort? I have a set I was going to put in when my head gaskets need changed but heard they are not worth it, heard they maybe good for 50-75hp more:confused:

they cant be added with out re- balancing the whole engine , and at that point you pretty much doing a full re-build , IMOP there not worth it but they are around 15% stronger .

To the OP you should be fine using a LLY slug as far as i know .
