Nasty hurt the tranny Friday night, Saturday the Huckstorf crew fixed it, dynoed it, and it will be at the track again today in Union Grove, WI.
are the numbers from the dyno gonna be released.
also did Kieth put a cage in the truck?if so does he still have the back seat?any idea on truck weight?
im sure he can, question is are you gonna spend the coin for the supporting mods to go/hold 10.6s.as you can see it is expsensive..

Well I just got word that it broke another input shaft, again, boy this is starting to sound familiar. They got several runs in and turned the NOS and tuning up best run of 10.35 @ 131 before it let go. Motor is running great still. Way to go Kieth, Curtis and Mark.
Steve later posted it looked more like clutches than input..good runs..congrats
1 st off i didnt know mike l built the tranny in nasty.2nd the ally doesnt like those levels of hp.we tried and tried but just couldnt get more than a few passes out of them.by the time we got the tranny ready to get beat on it would only last a few passes..
i think i did the cut and paste i dont know how to post a link...lol...PS - If there is something on CompD you think folk should read, you need to cut and paste it here.
CompD bans lots of folk from reading it.

Time will tell.
10.3 makes Nasty the quickest true street diesel as far as I can tell.
Kinda wish it was an LLY, but as long as it's a Dmax, I'm good. [/QUOTE yes the 10.35 does make it faster than the 10.52 that Buck ran in a tru street truck with a stock turbo 2 years ago..
