Looks great! I'm in the process of doing head gaskets on my new truck with 300k miles, bought it for extremely cheap, just needed head gaskets. I plan on getting the heads machined and flow tested locally, but I have one question for you and other members in the thread. What is the method you used for cleaning the block deck? I've searched it and found multiple answers on how to clean it, many of who are mostly just criticizing other's ways.

I use a 3M large area paint and rust stripper pad, it's like a 4" disk, can find them at home improvement stores and most auto parts stores. Usually spray wd40 on the deck, lay the disk flat and and scrub by hand to avoid making a low spot anywhere. Once everything seems pretty smooth and even I hit it with brake clean and make sure everything's dry then call it good.
