Bought an II s475 over stock twin kit. The truck as 315k on it so I'm way on borrowed time. But I'm gonna tune on the safer side. Decide to piwdercoat the ugly chrome with a pearl orange and damn she is pretty.



I'm waiting to install till I get more free time. The rest of the kit is wrapped up to keep it safe. This is a boost tube. I'll put up more pics once I get her on. The Turbo was done in a high temp satin black.

I met a guy at the gym he had an 06 LBZ with 254k miles, he was running mpi twins with duramax tuner tunes, stock head gaskets with zero problems. Had the kit on for 50k+ miles.

I'm excited about the color too. Everyone has red or blue. Not much orange from what I've seen. He mixed in a fair amount of pearl in there too do it pops in the sunlight. Trying to decide if I am gonna do it this weekend or save a little more for the tuning. My stash is getting low so I may need to hold off. What a crappy thing to have to wait for. Lol.

Im not sure if he is on this forum, but there is a member on duramax forum (know him personally) with 300k+ on his lb7. and he doesn't treat it nice either Sled pulls, drag strip, etc.

Finally started my install. Ha ha. Got her taken apart except for the top up pipe bolts. Momma made me stop working on it. Gotta find a fitting for the oil return still.
