Yeah im a little scared of ebay on things like that, i can just see myself hitting a pot hole, breaking the shackle and the leaf springs punching through the bed. Is anyone else running an ebay shackle?

Thats probably not gonna happen, unless its made out of some really thin soft steel. You will be bolted top and bottom and one of them will have to shear off before it breaks.
