Thats kickass Ben. We just bought my lady a 2003 allroad with real twins too. Kind of scares me that she has that power on tap. We lucked out as the previous owner just put a new timing belt, water pump, pulleys, tensioners and ignition coils in it last year. That makes the 4th Audi for my family :thumb:

nice!! 6-speed?? I love the allroads, and the 2.7t's are ridiculously easy to get tons of power out of. 420awhp is pretty easy with just swapping to K04 turbos and a tune....

Have the turbos been replaced on it that you know of? Make sure to give them a minute or so to cool off before you turn it off, that will help extend the life of them.

Even bone stock, just gut the cats and get an APR or EPL tune or something and it will be a LOT of fun.

A buddy of mine owns a S4 as well and it is very nimble and quick. It really is fun to drive. I owned a german car also before my truck and it was great. It was a Mercedes C55 with cams, headers, full exhaust, tuning, and a 50 shot and it dynoed 401rwhp. Raced my buddy a few times without the nos and it was a close race considering he has some mods of his own lol.

So what woul bring my a4 to life.... Remember I have the crappy CVT.
and won't break the bank

Hmmm not really sure as far as what the deal is with the CVT. From the little that I have read, they seem reliable but they are also pretty rare. As for how much power they will hold, thats anyones guess? Some simple bolt-on things might be a tune, exhaust, and maybe a K04 turbo swap. Im pretty sure a K04 will bolt on in place of the stock K03.

Like I said though, Im just learning with all this audi stuff...I barely even know the basics.

We need ScratchRob in here...hes the audi guy.

I found a little "easter egg" tonight too. I had never looked in the glove box until just now...

Found a big folder with some papers, opened it up and it was EVERY single service record and service receipt since the car was new!! Even the oil changes, the previous owner had every date/mileage documented. About 15,000 miles ago he apparently put all new brakes on (at the audi $tealer), new serp belt and tensioner, had all the recalls and TSB's done and electrical oddities fixed/reflashed etc..

Also had the original window sticker in there, gas guzzler tax and all. I couldnt believe what he paid for it new in 2004. Or how much they depreciate in less than 6 years. :D

I still call Bull S**t on keeping it stock :D

if/when it needs timing chain tensioners Ill probably use that as an excuse to put a clutch in it, because the motor will already be out anyways...

The plan/hope is that I wont have to do that for a long time though. Or at least not until I have it paid off.

It's an auto. It appears that the motor has to come out for a K03 swap.
