Well I picked up this little isuzu to run around in while I have my Duramax spread across my shop this winter.

Picked er up for $200 bucks. 202,000 miles and 95,000 on a rebuilt motor. The guy who owned it before the guy I bought it from changed the oil but didnt put the drain plug in. How you can do that I dont know, whatever though.

It is a 91 and somehow must have been exempt from emissions as it is carbuerated with no cat converter. Its a 2.3 Inline 4 with no power.

So Far I have put my old 5" stack on it with a straightpipe running to it. I dont have vids of it yet but when the motor is cold she backfires really bad and at night it lights up the sky with a flame and cloud of sparks. And of course I put 2 Dieselholic pulling team stickers on it. I have an air horn that I got for free ready to go on some time as well.

Its a good ol 5spd and the interior is aactually in good condition. However you can see through the bed.

heres a video of it

most likely, besides it cheaper and less work.

I was pretty surpised with that 24' wide body. My truck running a big tune had trouble keeping that thing at 60mph. Its kind of funny, you let off and it throws you into the dash and slows to 40mph due to the wind resistance.

My buddy that taped it didnt think it would move the wagon at all. He didnt think it would lauch in 2rd gear or spin the tires, the only thing he was right about was it not launching in 3rd. It just slipped the clutch.

I learned that it doesnt like to idle due to the carb. Ive never owned a vehicle with a carb, only a 6.5TD and my DMax, oh and I did drive a 98 civic for a month when I first got my license.

all in all shes definately a good runner but I dont think it will like the predicted 104" of snow. Espcially since the bed is rusted through.

Just remembered a little story about it.

When we got the stack on we lowered the truck down so we could rig up som esupports for the stack, we didnt lower the lift all the way.

I started it up when it was still in reverse. Now the clutch needs some adjustment so when you start it in reverse the truck will still move a little.

Well By no you can guess what happened. It made a lot of funky noises when this happened and it scratched the paint on my lift.
