Is your new filter oiled? If it is you might have oiled the maf a little in which case I would clean it first and see if it goess away.

A little black smoke on a stock high mileage truck is fine :thumb:

My truck never blew any smoke whatsoever, well it did but I had to stand on it fully to make a quarter of a puff. But that all changed since the efilive of course

engine misfire please help!

My lb7 is pouring with smoke and I've got a misfire at 4 and 8 cyclinder I've done my balance rate tests and they are all at 7 besides 4 and 8, they are both 15. Cylinder 5 reads like a normal injector. I have switched the injectors around and bought a new one and they still stay the same. Could this be electrical?
