In case anyone else want to try this i will take pics and post them up. I relocated my FICM to the passenger side fender behind the coolant bottle. I will be running it dry. I started extending my wiring harnesses yesterday and i will try and get a few pictures on how everything will work out. The bigger wires in the harness are 14 guage and the smaller ones are 20 guage. Also does anyone know what the threads are for the CP3 fitting? im going to try and run 3/8's all the way to the CP3.

1) Yes, pictures of the relocate would be welcome.

2) PPE sells that 3/8" Cp3 fitting, dont they?

I cant remember for sure but its either 12 or 14mm O-ring. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

I don't think ppes fitting is 3/8 I thought it was a ported one but stock size. I could be wrong. I will get some pictures today. if I know the size for sure I'm going to look on summit and try to find something. I need a CP3 thread to 6an. the same that come it the ats dual fueled kits.

Awesome. Looking forward to doing this myself. Although I'm thinking the rerouting of fuel lines will be a bit of a pain...

I moved my FICM down to the frame rail along with the glow plug control module. Really cleans things up:

Looks good brother. Hopefully the air down by the frame can keep it pretty cool. How did you work the fuel line?

I tapped into the fuel return lines actually. Right by the oil filter. Ran both lines up to cool it. I know the return side is hotter but now I can crank up my lift pump as high as I can without worrying about damage to the FICM. I've been doing a feel test and so far it doesn't get too hot. If it does I'll hook up a little power steering cooler to it. I also installed baffles to keep water and freezing snow from hitting both modules.

There is some pictures of what i did. I used the mounting bracket off of the valve cover with NO modifications. i mounted the FICM alittle crooked so i could clear the cold side pipe alittle better. All in all im very happy. I soldered every connection and double shrink wrapped every connection. The small wires in the harness are 20 gauge and the bigger ones are 14 gauge. I added about 18" to each wire. If you run a second batt you will have to do smoething diffrent but you might be able to mount it on the firewall instead. Im running mine dry and going to see how it works out. i also re routed my fuel lines so i dont have a loop of hose connecting the two lines from where the FICM should be but i dont have any pics of that. Sorry about the crappy pics some where with my phone.

i forgot to say that all except one wire are normal wiring. The one is shielded. Its the big yellow wire on the bottom harness in the top pic.
