SWEET KRIS!!!! I cant wait to see this bad boy at the Etown nationals in sept. You better be coming:hug: ts gonna be nasty :D:D:D

BTW, i got a race for us the day after too if your interested ;)

Hell yea ill be there. I have to get these twins put on and my cal tracs installed. The nationals will be my first runs with these at the track so it will be interesting:cool: And do tell more about this little race. Im always down for a little street action:thumb:

Looks awesome man:thumb: Cool story above aswell, I was impressed just how clean your truck is after seeing it in person.. :beer

Thanks buddy:hug: Means a lot coming from you who has a pretty damn clean truck yourself:cool2: I have always taken pride in the vehicles appearance I have driven over the years but some say I go a little over the top with my truck with cleanliness:eek:

Man I like the way you think an that big head I sold ya wasn't enough huh gotta get those twins mounted. Trent's Going to be building my twins when I get the cash

I hear ya man, the big head you sold me was just the begining. I knew I had twins in my future I just wanted to squeeze some 12 sec passes before I try to dip into the 11's and the big head def helped me get there I think:thumb: I cant wait to see how your set turns out. Your truck is going to be pretty nasty. It will def has the "show" aspect covered, now you will have a lot of "go" haha

very nice. im kinda in the same boat. been building my 02 for 4 years now to where i liked the look of it but its becoming more and more for show and play. I also bought it off my dad who bought it new back in 02. Ive got 158,000 miles though :D lol. Nicely done on the twins. i was workin my butt off to try and get in on it but jsut couldnt get the money together. oh well, ill live teh joy of twins through you and others lol

Ive always loved your truck man. Its really sick and if I had gone the lifted route, your truck may have had a twin but in pewter:D You will get them one day soon im sure. Trent did an awesome job keeping them affordable so im sure they are in your very near future. After I post up some videos that may help ya get them sooner then later:thumb:

Looks good! :thumb:

Levi, Im really diggin the blankets:cool2: Thanks for getting them to me so quick as well! Really cant wait to get them on and see how well they really work. The craftsmanship is awesome as well and it shows you take a lot of pride in your work:cool:

Maybe we can work on up a detailing for tuning trade:hug: Then you can have all the fun you want trying to break my motor:D. I should be starting the install tomorrow night so Im hoping by the end of the weekend it should be done as long as I can keep my old man working with me:rofl:

So I got a start on the build today! Things went pretty well. I had to stop a few times to go help a buddy of mine put a rear end in a trans am but other then that I think we got pretty far with it. The down pipe was a biatch to get out btw. Without the tricks from Trent and Rob(darkness) and my buddies helping me out, that thing would still be in there:baby: The fuel filter re-location took a little bit. The factory lines were all cracked so I made new lines I had left over from my air dog install(plus I think the blue looks kinda cool). The hot pipe is looking bad ass in there to:cool2: The rest from here on out I think is clear sailing. Big thanks to Andrew(ATouchofgrass) for coming out and lending a hand as well:hug: Its starting to look gooood under the hood. cant wait to see how she looks finished up:happy2: Heres some pics

Got most of it done today. Ran into some problems on my end not having the right tools for the job so took a bit longer then I expected:eek: Its looking real good under the hood and Trent does an awesome job at putting a great kit together. So far everything has gone together as it should and never ran into any problems with any of the fab work with the kit. Just a little mistake with the intercooler tube thats holding me up now( Damn 2001 trucks having a different Y-bridge then 2002 and up LB7's) but should be on the road very soon and I cant wait! So close now. I want to thank me buddies for stoping by to see how me and my father were doing and ended up spending hte whole day working with us so without them we would not be as far as we are. Hers a few pics of the day for those interested.

Is it me or does it look like turbo sits a little more closer to the firewall:confused: Just comparing it to Chris's setup:eek: Overall looking good and you have a clean truck :thumb:

i think its just an illusion of the pics. mine sits about the same spot. the downpipe has about 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" of clearance from the firewall.

Thanks for the comments guys! It is a very fun build to say the least. I do think its the way I took the pics on how the turbo sits to the firewall. Like Robs I have about the same clearance of the downpipe on the firewall. Fits like a glove in there! I really appreciate it Trent. Considering you just got home from vacation a few hours ago and you are out in your shop making up a new IC pipe is just awesome. No shop or company owner I know or ever dealt with would have customer service like that so its much appreciated:hug:
