How big of a mess does this make when you unscrew the barb to install the plug again?

Not much. I had the plug ready and just quick-swapped them.

Might as well mount that sprayer tank under the hood and every time you run it pump it a couple of times before you start the motor. Might make it to 5 million miles on that engine:thumb:?

that is a great idea, i didnt know you had to prelube these

Great idea, we use the same setup. The valve at the barb fitting does help keep things clean.
