Yes Bri we all know your opinion on things...:roflmao:

We also all know dual pumps are better then a single but with budget in mind and 850hp being the goal a single stroker and 60% will do just fine and if we have issues its easy to bolt on a twin cp3 kit but it wont be needed.

Have you ran 60% and a stroker pump? Do you know if it will be a issue? I have done it before and know. Last i recall you ran stock pump and 20% overs:spit:

:thumb: experience trumps all! just gives me more room for upgraded as time goes by!

Nah, I haven't ran them, but I read enough to know that when a valley Cp3 takes a poop, it's a royal PITA to remove, so, to me, easier with dual stock pumps, but, what do I know, I run stock cp3's and baby 20's

You know i love you

:woott: Need to head up there before it gets hot again.

If it goes out ill throw dual cp3s on it. like newly said I was more concerned with the internals holding up. easy to tune the truck down than to blow something up cause i was trying to make more power than my internals could handle.

If your blowing up internals with carrillo's and arp's under there, you got issues. Either route you take will be fine, im just not a fan of modded pumps. ;)

Lol I have no knowledge of modded or duals im learning. That why i out my truck into newlys hands after talking to friends and searching the web and found his truck on the track and stuff. I figured he was my guys.

Im sure ill go for more power eventually so the duals will be needed im sure. :woott:

So where in QC you live? Not many fast trucks here, Ive beat all of them pretty easily

Only a 08 6.4 with Spartan tunes that gave me a good run for my money, until my tires stopped spinning

Reliability and modded pumps don't go together in my opinion. Also, dual pumps have dropped drastically in price over the last year or so. I don't know what brand modded pump you're using, but I would guess it would cost somewhere around $1600 or more. PPE lists dual fueler kits with a pump for $2350 on their website. For the the kind of money you're already spending on building your motor, it seems like a no brainer to me, especially if reliability is a factor.

Yeah it was the greystone color.

True, but dual pumps with the same injector is easier on the pump than a big single pump with all things being equal ;)
Im a big fan of dual pumps and hate the high strung singles, high failure rate from what ive seen, doesnt matter the maker seen em all have problems from 45 over on up.Regular pumps are cheap to replace the big 1s are big money.Just my .02

I've seen quite a few modded single pumps/bigger sticks put down 800+ even a few years ago. Shit There are a ton of guys putting down 600-650 these days on stock pump, big sticks...and a few on stock/stock

Oh, and 85% pump from company X can be quite a bit differnt than 85% from company Z...

Thanks for the Input guys. Newly and I are going the 85 route, if we get it on the dyno and find we are having problems we will add another pump. Like said before even if we cant get to the number what whatever reason, say i have a crap pump. Ill just have newly tune the truck down until I get a hold of new fund to get duals. My main focus was to take care of all the internals and tranny. Up next will be the rear end im thinking just depends honestly on how hard I catch the Track bug If I find my self sitting on the edge of a mile stone ill look into getting some upgrades. =p I have a while, motor just went out to get keyed and balanced.

Anyone looking for 06 srt8 =p got one for sale.:cool2:

or even a stock pump in good condition I might consider taking it off your hands.

It sucks when you are casually driving down the road and your modded pump decides to internally explode... I wonder why I reinstalled another modded pump LOL
