Hey y'all, I'm new here, so thanks in advance for any help!
I have an 06 3500 dually. Over the past few years I've noticed my brake pedal feels "soft" when I apply it. I have tried bleeding the lines. I changed the drivers side wheel bearing, cause it was loud and someone told me a bad bearing can make the pedal soft. Could my problem be from a bad brake booster? It seems I just don't have the braking power I need compared to when I first bought it. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

Your truck has hydro boost braking. Check the power steering fluid. Check your belt tension. Usually when brake booster is bad you get a hard pedal. I would bet your fluid is dirty and contaminated.

Basically pump pedal and open bleeders. Eventually it will get below the master cylinder then you could add fluid till it comes out clean. Follow the bleed procedure. You might need a scan tool to do the abs pump bleed procedure.
