Piston , truck still runs, but a bit rough, and is pouring oil out of the rear main , i am assuming the pressure blew it out , I will post pics of the tear down when it comes out of the truck but so faronyl apears to be a piston.
best i can figure it was oil hitting hot pipes , as soon as i let off it stopped and the only thing leaking is oil .
gotcha man that build put up with a crazy amount. if only damage is a piston are you going to go forged and rebuild with all the same parts or go with a new idea?

Budget pending it will get forged pistons , girdel , main studs , cam , the rest i will base decisions on what the tear down shows and upgrade acordingly , and ya I owe that motor nothing it earned its own keep for sure
