My 02 lb7. Was leaving a stop sign the other morning and real loud knocking started and the biggest cloud of white smoke was let out. I shut the truck off as I pulled over right away. Nervous so I got a trailer and towed it home. I started it pulled it onto the trailer and it let out some grey smoke but not very much. Got it home started it up got it off the trailer checked the oil. Looked fine smelled normal. All fluids r normal. Drove it down the rd and the knocking slowly faded away and sounds like the normal diesel knock. No smoking and ran normal. Check engine light is on now. It goes n shop n few days to get diagnostics ran but this has me stumped. I have replaced the turbo, replaced the cp3 pump. Both almost a yr ago. And now all this. Anybody have any idea??
