mustang dyno

Any one run an LBZ on a mustang dyno ? What results you get?

My buddies 07 LBZ with a stock turbo and Kennedy pumps made 480 on a Mustang 2000 and then a few months later it put down 498 on a Dynojet same tuning.

Good numbers who's tuning? Probably 5th gear pulls I'll bet.

I think it was 5th gear?? He uses Duramaxtuner, gonna dyno it again in November he put 30 over injectors in it.

I think 5th produces a little higher number because its lower than a 1:1 ratio

Yes it does ,always has at any dyno event or dyno I've rolled on. Must accurate is 1:1 or 4th gear. There has always been a argument although about it. But IMO only using the 1:1 makes consistent data.

i just ran on one this morning have idaho rob tuning with powermaxx stg 2 turbo lift pump and full trans truck only put down 380hp and 630 torque do those sound right? i thought they were a little off cause when the truck was just stock and a diablo sport tuner it put down 433hp and 780 torque?

Something is definitely wrong with both sets of numbers

YEah I think the guy didn't no what he was doin luckly I didn't have to pay for it!

Odd, because in 2 seperate runs, both having 2 back to back pulls i consistently make more power in 4th over 5th. The last one i ran i lost almost 75 HP by running in 5th.

Mine was in 5th when dynoed at TS

It usually yields a higher reading in 5th if it didn't there must have been no brake at all on the dyno or the operator was clueless . Anywhere I have always yielded higher

Mine made 480 hp 1040 ft/lbs. On a mustang today same tuning.
