Well you know he has probably heard everyone with a diesel around him add up there power adders this way and just didn't know any better. Reading adds of intakes, injectors, exhaust and so on make you believe you just get a calculator add everything up and thats your HP. The only thing I know of that adds an honest guaranteed amount of hp is Jeggs decals.
didint read the whole thread; but my truck made 670 on a mustang and 975 on a superflow if that makes you feel better! the mustang was at schieds the day before i ran a cummins laid 980? on dunbars dynojet and 690? on the same mustang i ran on.
when it ran it seemed as if there was no load on the truck at all, like it was just free revving, i gave it two shots and had them take it off; no thanks!!
