Locktite cold shock works really good as well.

Flex ratchets I feel are a must as others have already said. Another must is I feel is a TOP SIDE CREEPER!!!! The first time you use it you're wonder why didn't buy one sooner. I'd buy one now so you have it for down the road when you do other projects.

I had my II 366 install in like 2 - 3 hours, but I had to leave for Canada the next morning.
The oil line I felt was tricky to route. I couldn't route it in the location I really wanted to but I did the best I could and it looks good.:thumb:

Good luck and have fun.

2-3 hours seems pretty fast . I'm picturing a weekend depending on the amount of time spent staring at the truck with a beer in my hand.:D

I'll look into the top side creeper too.

When I was in a rush once (I had put a different turbo on my truck, took it out for a drive, and found the drain gasket was leaking), I was so mad that I went into "nutso" mode and literally had the turbo back off in 40 minutes. Thats from driving the truck back in the shop to turbo sitting on the bench.

If its the first time you are doing it though, plan on 6 hours or so.

It wasn't the first or second time I had removed a turbo from my pickup:D.
I HIGHLY recommend a top side creeper. You could always make it yourself if you've got a welder and a grinder. I'm SO glad I made my own it's made my life much easier.

Wow I've never seen a top side creeper..what a cool idea. My knees were bruised for a week after doing my downpipe. Wish I knew about this sooner that radiator support isn't exactly soft.
