Mods please move if this is not the correct area to post this....

My truck got a little muddy over this weekend, so i washed it with the normal car wash i use. My truck is black and there are "stains" all over it. What have you guys used to remove these? Any tips, tricks, or recommendations?

TWO BUCKET WASH! You should used the 2 bucket wash method, then as previously stated Clay bar followed by a wax/sealant. I recommend a HEAVY duty clay bar which chemical guys has a heavy duty that works great. Also would recommend a wash to strip any wax already on the truck. Clean Slate from CG works really well just remember when washing and waxing dark colors to be mindful or swirls from your wash mit and or micro fiber towel.

when doing all the above treatments you want to move in one direction for movements. So when washing avoid any back and forth wiping, so say your washing the hood you want to do one swipe down then remove the mit and rinse in your clean water bucket. Same with clay treatments and applying and removing wax. Move with the body lines and avoid back and forth motions to avoid and swirls and etc.

Clay bar did nothing, tried to buff it out at the body shop, didnt work. Dropping it off tomorrow and hes going to try and lightly wet sand it out. Will probably have to repaint the front end.

TX of course
Has the spots changed at all? I once got some oily mud on my oil truck that left spots like that. I think they went away after a bit. It was like 20 years ago so I don't really remember.
