^^^X2 I have a couple L7's needing to be installed and I still want to lay my seat down for tools.

I agree with the Rockford Amps... especially (when i was into it - might be different now) - the Power series amps. Very clean sound whether mono block or 4 channel amps... In fact i have about 6 amps of varying power levels / models - all Rockford - sitting in my garage now.... mono amps are probably a bit too much for most 8's or 10's though, but several good Component / rear fill amps....

Maybe we swing a deal Trent?? :D

Good luck with the L7 , that's what I have an it freakn rocks..

How much for one of those mono amps?

Probably cost more to send them than they cost to make.... :D
All 3/4 MDF, so they a tad on the heavy side.

Not sure if you're talking about laying the back of the seats down, or just latching the seat bottoms. I can latch the bottom of both seats. The protrusion on the top of the sub box sticks up into the seat bottom, but even when I sit on it, I cant feel the box through the seat. Thats saying something since I'm somewhere around 300 lbs. :D

I can get dimensions, I just dont have access to the truck right now though. Heres a few pics of puttin it together anyway.

How deep are the L7's?? This sub is about 6" deep so the opening had to be at least 6 1/2" to leave the back of the sub access to breathe. I dont think I could have gotten a deeper sub to work though.

Just so you all know, this is based on a subthump box. Reason I decided to do my own is I only run one 10, their box is set up for two. I also wanted to make sure my speaker would fit since its pretty deep.

Looks good Wes. Next time I am in Vegas I will have to get you to throw in your favorite Celine Dione disc and take it for a test drive!!

If you get a chance Wes I would like to get your deminsions on the box, the L7's are about 7-8 inches deep as there mag is huge, I have 2 of them but I only want 1 I'll prolly sell one or do some horse tradein with it, as they still are very $$$. Thanks man

I'm reminding you now:D

:D

This what I got so far. Need any more let me know. Fits the sub pictured with about a 1/2" left behind sub. Box is all 3/4" MDF, and all dimensions are outside edges.

I am sorry to resurrect an old thread but I noticed there is a dimension missing to Wes's plan and I was wondering if someone would be so kind to provide it to me. It doesn't specify how wide the box is at the subwoofer mounting plate. I imagine I can figure that out on my own but I thought it would be nice to have. Good job tho Wes and I really appreciate the plans! I am thinking of retrofitting it to fit my 12" sub which would also be half an inch deeper than yours. I don't really care if someone feels the box through the seat as I have someone sitting there only once in a blue moon.

Thanks in advance!
